Bloomberg is an Idiot

July 5, 2012

Really?  No drinks larger than 16 ounces can be sold in New York?  I thought this guy was pro-choice and it was the conservatives who were the Gestapo.  Go figure.

Can 7-11 survive without Slurpees and the Big Gulp?  What about smoothie places?  For sit down restaurants with free refills, it’s no problem, but to go?

Hey, here’s a better idea: Since Bloomberg is concerned about obesity, let’s just say if you’re fat, you can’t get a big drink.  Sellers can have scales next to the cash register, and maybe blood-sugar pricks so diabetics can have decisions removed from their lives?

I suppose ice cream is next to go.

Give me the PATRIOT act over Bloomberg’s idiocy any day.

I think he’s targeting large popcorn, too. As Bugs Bunny would say – what a maroon!

Yeah, I’m with you on this one. If they want to increase the ‘sin tax’ on stuff like large sodas and unhealthy snacks, put it to a vote. But banning something outright isn’t the avenue I like to see pursued. I may be a liberal, but that doesn’t mean I want to see America become any more of a Nanny State than it already is!
