Republican Debates

A whole buncha fellas with three rising to the top.

1. Romney – Good looking guy, good presentation, Mormon… might win, might not.
2. Gulliani – Not good looking, good presentation, smart, unique, pro-choice… he might be the guy. I almost hope so.
3. Huckaby (sp)- I like this guy. A lot. He stood out from the pack, I agree with him on most levels, but he’s a former Governor of Arkansas, and that will ultimately shoot him down.

Of the three, I think Gulliani would be the strongest, oddest president. I’d like to see what he can do.

To forestall the comments about pro-choice being enough to ace out Guillani, I’m not so sure.He says he believes it is wrong, but doesn’t think legislation is the way to deal with it. That’s a very Lincolnesk stance.Old Abe did not speak out against slavery. When pushed in debates or campaigns, he took the middle ground, saying he would never own slaves. But in states where a stance would harm his chances, he said nothing. Some might think that makes him wishy-washy, but Lincoln only fought battles he could win, and bade his time to make sure he was available to fight when those times arose.Would Julie make the hard call when the time came? Yes and no. If he had the opportunity to put a judge on the Supreme Court, it would be a conservative. And who could challenge a pro-choice president on his selection of a pro-life judge when that “isn’t what I selected him for”?Maybe we’ll see…

Pro choice = pro death… I can’t really understand most of the political stuff in America, but i’ll take your word for it. Pro life v.s Pro death is what it actually is, but they hide behind “choice”. If only someone would make a linclone or something lol.Ever wonder what shows your kids are watching? i’m doing a bunch of T.V reviews this week. It’s made 4 adults who want to know what their kid’s watch but don’t have time to watch it with them. Unfortunant your the only adult who reads my blog and you don’t have cable (me niether of course, but grandma does and online shows also contributed to alot of the info on Naruto) so it kind of defeats the purpose. 😐

That’s the wonderful thing about Mrs. Young, she can mature on and mature off with ease, meaning she can get silly with us (when she’s not in EUROPE ON A CRUISE) or she she can talk all lofty with the grown ups. :)Yeah, sorry, the kids don’t watch T.V. and the videos they watch are previewed by us.The thing about abortion is that it is horrible beyond measure, but the only thing that will stop it is heart-change; something a law will not effect. Too many pro-lifers think getting RvW struck down is the end of the argument, but it really isn’t even a bump in the road. Our strategies must be directed at the heart.

Mrs. Young got home last night and one of the first things that she checks in the morning is Rob’s blog. But I did start my laundry first! And it is good to be home.
